While the Jeep Patriot may not get as much love as other models in the Jeep lineup, the 2016 version aims to capture the attention of drivers all over Conyers. Though it was designed as an affordable choice for car buyers, the 2016 Jeep Patriot doesn't hold back when it comes to delivering what you want.
For an idea of everything the new model can give you, here's our review of the 2016 Jeep Patriot.
Iconic Design
The 2016 Patriot features a design that blends perfectly with the rest of the vehicles in the Jeep lineup, so you know it's a Jeep. This year's model doesn't stray far from its original style. It's still considered the most traditional looking Jeep on the market and features the distinctive headlights, grille, and available skid plates with a compact square-shaped body.
For the interior, the Patriot's architecture allows for more space and overall comfort with ample leg and headroom in the front and back seats. While its overall structure is smaller than that of the Wrangler and the Cherokee, its tall roofline still allows for easy entry and exit for even the tallest drivers. In terms of styling, the new model adds more detailing and soft-touch materials.
Upgraded Performance
This year's Jeep Patriot comes with 2.0-liter base engine that generates 158 horsepower. For higher trims, there's the 2.4-liter engine that produces 172 horsepower.
And of course, it wouldn't be a Jeep model without available capabilities for your off-road adventures. In the higher trims of the 2016 Jeep Patriot, you'll be able to choose between the Freedom Drive I and Freedom Drive II performance packages that add a four-wheel drive system among other capability features. With either package, you'll be able to get through mud, sand, and other tough terrain with ease.
Fuel Economy in the Jeep Patriot
In addition to capabilities, the performance packages of the 2016 Jeep Patriot include a continuously variable transmission (CVT). This aids driving confidence with enhanced crawling features and overall performance in the cities and on the highway.
The CVT will also optimize fuel economy for both the standard and available engines. Models equipped with the base engine get about 30 highway mpg, while the optional 2.4-liter engine provides about 27 highway mpg.
Advanced Technologies
The 2016 Jeep Patriot has done away with the Limited trim and only offers the Sport and Latitude models. However, it still has the same innovative technologies for your entertainment, safety, and convenience.
In the Patriot, you'll have the option of adding a Bluetooth system with voice recognition, a navigation system with Sirius Travel Link, and a Boston sound system with tailgate speakers. The SUV also comes equipped with safety features such as Electronic Stability Control with Roll Mitigation, off-road braking, and Hill Descent Control.
The Jeep Patriot may not be as popular as other vehicles in the Jeep lineup, but that's changing with the new 2016 model. With impressive features, a capable and fuel-efficient performance, and useful capabilities, this SUV is sure to become a new favorite for drivers in Conyers.
