Chrysler Brand Supports National Schools

The Chrysler brand has reaffirmed their pledge to communities across the United States, and they have announcing that over $25,000 in donations will be given to schools across all five regions of the country. The money was raised in partnership with the 2014 Drive for the Kids® program, which was incorporated in 1993. Chrysler works closely with the Drive for the Kids® program, providing dealerships all over the country with the opportunity to interact with parents and educators in the dealership's local communities. For 2015, the Drive for the Kids organizations has helped to provide support to elementary schools by raising money and asking community members to test drive a 2015 Chrysler's Town & Country minivans.

Each year, local dealerships and communities have supported schools while demonstrating Chrysler's commitment to creating safe, capable and efficient vehicles. The events are held on the grounds of the school, and $10 in donations will be provided by Chrysler brand for each test drive taken in an available Town & Country minivan. The Town & Country's will be provided by partner FCA US dealerships.

The events were incredibly successful, and the following schools will receive funding from their partnered Chrysler dealership:

  • Western Region: Arma J. Shull Elementary School, San Dimas, Calif., and Glendora Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram
  • Midwest Region: Mount Ayr Middle School, Mount Ayr, Iowa, and Glendenning Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
  • Central Region: Hallsville Intermediate School, Hallsville, Texas, and Patterson Chrysler Dodge Ram Jeep of Marshall
  • Southeast Region: South Cumberland Elementary School, Crossville, Tenn., and East Tennessee Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram
  • Northeast Region: Most Holy Rosary School, Syracuse, New York, and Lowery Bros. Chrysler Jeep

The Town & Country is the most versatile minivan on the market, offering support for a number of customers. It is a continuous award winner, and as recently as January of 2015 the minivan earned its 10th consecutive "Readers' Choice" award for 'Best Family Hauler' from readers of the Detroit News. Additionally, the Town & Country has been recognized by IHS Automotive for the 14th consecutive year, with the highest Model Loyalty in the Non-Luxury Mid-Size Van Segment.
